Boundary Requirements
Only those candidates that reside within our boundaries will be allowed to register to play for CHLL. The residence must be the legal residence of that child. It cannot be the residence of the grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc., unless they have been declared legal guardians of the child. In cases where the parents are divorced and/or maintain separate households, the applicable residence shall be that of the parent or guardian that has been granted legal custody. LittleLeague allows the following exception to the residence rule:
The Board Of Directors of the local league, with the approval of the player involved, reserves the right to continue as a player, any individual (1) whose residence changes or (2) who lives outside the League’s boundaries because of a revision of such boundaries even if the child then resides in the territory of another League. Current Senior League, Junior League, Major League, Minor League or Tee Ball players or any siblings whose brother or sister meet the above criteria, may also be retained. Any player meeting (1) or (2) above may be retained for the remainder of his/her Little League career. Any player who qualifies under this regulation and elects not to participate for a playing season is not eligible to be retained for the subsequent season.
THESE BOUNDARIES AFFECT ONLY THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE IN LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL. THEY DO NOT AFFECT GIRLS THAT PARTICIPATE IN OUR ASA SOFTBALL PROGRAM OR IN THE MIMS PARK BASEBALL BABE RUTH PROGRAM.
