CHLL Park Rules
Cottage Hill Little League Park Rules 2009![]()
- No wall ball.
- No fence climbing.
- Hitting into any fence, backstop or batting cage fence is strictly prohibited. This includes soft toss, pepper games, etc.
- Children under the age of sixteen (16) are not allowed in press boxes unless accompanied by a parent or specifically approved by a park official.
- Only registered players of Cottage Hill Little League/Mims Park Softball are allowed in batting cages and must be accompanied by an approved Manager/Coach.
- One child at a time is allowed in the batting cage and must be accompanied by an approved Manager/Coach. The batter must wear an LL approved batting helmet.
- No swinging of bats, throwing or hitting of baseballs, softballs, or Tee-balls outside of fences, except in designated areas.
- No parking in concession area parking lot, except those people specifically approved by the CHLL auxiliary.
- No person will manage more than one team, be it baseball, softball, or a combination thereof, at this park.
- No one without a valid driver’s license is to operate any equipment.
- Ejection of a manager, or coach, will result in a minimum one game suspension.
- Park only in designated parking areas unless unloading equipment or supplies.
- Donations of baseball equipment (bat bags, etc.) or uniforms (warm-up jackets, etc.) to teams members is strictly prohibited unless approved by the CHLL Board of Directors
- Names on the back of team jerseys will be the last name only. This is a team option.
- Names on the back of team caps/visors will be last name only. This is a team option.
- Team banners, balloons, signs, etc. are not allowed during regular season games.
- All adults assisting teams during practice or games must have an approved CHLL Volunteer application on file.
- Players are not allowed to have candy, gum, or food in the dugouts or on the field.
- Laser Lights are prohibited.
- Mims Park is a NO SMOKING facility
- Any player(s) responsible for the willful destruction of CHLL property or personal property associated with park activities is subject to suspension for the next scheduled game(s).
- Managers/Coaches that confront an Umpire(s) before, during, or after a game will be suspended from coaching for the remainder of the season. The confrontation shall include but not be limited to the following:
- Playing Rules
- Profane and/or improper language
- Judgment Calls
- Questioning an Umpire(s) decisions during a game
- Parents/spectators that confront an Umpire(s) before, during, or after a game will be subject to:
- Minimum – two (2) game suspension
- Maximum – Suspension from all CHLL/Mims Park Softball activities for the remainder of the current season
- A combination of scheduled practices and games shall not exceed four times per week.
Examples: 0 games + 4 practices
1 game + 3 practices
2 games + 2 practices
3 games + 1 practices
